Just realized that I haven't posted a journal entry in over a year. I haven't posted much art either. Been busy with school and work and all. So just posting to say that I'm not dead or anything. Just busy and still stuck in artist's block.

Let me see...

I have 85+ human (or humanoid) characters and 10+ animal characters. Yup. And I keep coming up with more. And most of them are for the same plot/storyline. There's one big storyline and a couple smaller separate ones with a lot of subplots thrown in because random ideas keep popping into my head and won't go away and I can't decide what I want to do. The big plot does involve vampires, but they're not sparkly or angsty or nice-deep-down. And there's other
critters too. Meh... you'll see... maybe... if I ever finish...

Greetings! Yeah, I only update this thing once every few months, and I haven't posted any art in a really long time. I still have major Artist's Block. Plus, the end of the semester is closing in, and then I have to do Directed Field Studies. I really do want to draw/ submit more often, but usually, by the time I actually finish a drawing, I hate it too much to bother scanning/ colouring/ submitting it. Eh...

I went through all my old sketchbooks, hoping to find *something* to scan in and I noticed something. I thought I hadn't improved at all, which was part of the reason I haven't drawn in a while, but most of my old stuff really sucked and I do seem to have improved, albeit not a whole lot. I still can't do backgrounds or perspective, but at least my anatomy and proportions are a little bit better than they were. I think. I hope.

Well... just wanted to say that I'm still around and that I haven't abandoned this account or quit drawing or anything like that.

Okies. So...

I probably still won't be posting anything for a long while. Why? Because I'm stuck working for most of the holidays. I agreed to work 3-4 days a week, so naturally, I'm scheduled to work 5 days a week, all 8 hour shifts.

I meant to work only a few days, and get some drawings done but it looks like that isn't going to happen.
